Title: Production Assembler

Full-Time
1st Shift
Location: Fort Payne

Purpose:
This position will report to the Production Manager and assist in the day to day branch activities.

Responsibilities:
The list below is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time;

 • Assemble assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines.
 • Monitor quality processes.
 • Complete and submit inspection paperwork.

Required Skills:
 • Strong mechanical aptitude.
 • Ability to apply basic math skills.
 • Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers.
 • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Necessary Skills:

Work Requirements:

Title: Shipping and Receiving/ Vendor Managed Inventory

Full-Time
1st Shift
Location: Fort Payne

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for verifying shipment records, accepting shipments and distributing materials and parts coming into the company as well as putting away, pulling and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. In addition, obtaining and reviewing driver itinerary, checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded. Listed are attributes that include but are not limited to;

 • Unloading freight carriers and signing bills of lading
 • Delivering product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel
 • Safely drive and efficiently deliver and pickup products to specific accounts while ensuring good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a professional manner
 • Maintain customer inventory levels
 • Participate in weekly conference call with other VMI associates and VMI Manager
 • Meet with branch manager weekly to address any changes in stock levels at the customer location
 • Coordinating large deliver freight and large outgoing freight shipments to the correct delivery or shipping destinations
 • Assembling orders and preparing goods for shipment, recording shipment data, including weight charges

Required Skills:
 • Requires acceptable math skills and competency with Microsoft Office
 • Must be able to read and understand warehouse paperwork

Necessary Skills:
 • Good decision making ability, be highly organized with a sense of urgency, and possess good communication skills
 • Highly effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
 • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment

Work Requirements:
 • Requires ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently lifting up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
 • Work environment requires identified PPE at all times.

Requirements:
 • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
 • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
 • Previous experience driving a forklift preferred
 • Comfortable and willing to drive in all types of weather

Title: Office Manager

Full-Time

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the administrative and organizational management of the office. This includes; supporting customers, managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication; ensuring that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.  • Handle daily communication between outside sales, the customer and production.
 • Address customer issues and coordinate internal and external support services.
 • Work as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks.
 • Assist with general office operations. Arrange meeting logistics; track and maintain workflow, monitor task due dates; respond to telephone/email inquiries and forward messages appropriately
 • Provide back-up support to others
 • Arranging meetings and conference calls (including coordinating all meeting logistics, developing agendas and meeting materials, etc.)
 • Data entry and database management
 • Prepares promotional correspondence and informational printed materials
 • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondences and other records
 • Supports Operations request to meet and exceed customer’s expectations
 • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities for social gatherings
 • Understand customer relationships in order to recognize and take advantage of opportunities to grow the business, while improving the overall internal processes
 • Support continuous improvement and quality objectives

Preferred Knowledge:
 • Operations Knowledge (manufacturing processes, materials, etc)
